Training

Two types of key training—Face to Face and Online—will be used for in-depth training of system users. Onsite (face-to-face) trainings allow new users an opportunity to explore and engage with the system under the direct guidance of a certified trainer. These one-day trainings include: research overview, step-by-step instruction on data collection and analysis, and technical guidance and support.

The Online Tutorial is a self-paced, easy-to-use, video-based learning site. The format allows learners to use the system at their own pace, on their own time. The online training includes short individual movies and online exercises that give users the opportunity to select what they want to learn and the order in which they want to learn it. The Tutorial is broken down into three sections. Section one reviews the basics of the system, section two provides users an opportunity to practice and enhance their comfort level with the tools, the final section includes reliability and validity exercises that help ensure all users are consistent and accurate. In addition to use of the face to face and tutorial versions of training we will also offer a webinar version of training for larger groups of potential system users. CaseNEX - Datacation will provide a Users’ Training Manual, an Online Video Guide of System Components, an FAQ feature, and a submission and request for assistance area.
