New Mexico Public Education Department partners with CaseNEX-DataCation to develop a customized Data Dashboard to track longitudinal data trends.

The New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) partnered with CaseNEX-DataCation to develop the NMPED Data Dashboard which displays aggregate longitudinal data for every public school and school district in the state. The Dashboard allows school officials and the public to display data trends and forecasts for multiple performance indicators, such as Enrollment; Attendance; Performance on State Exams, SATs, and PSATs, broken out by NCLB subgroups; Graduation-Promotion Rates; School Climate; Incident Reporting; and Teacher Qualifications.

Customized interactive Dashboard tools allow users to define and graph actual performance, growth targets, and progress for individual schools or districts, or to compare schools or districts by any performance indicator. In addition to public access to statewide aggregate data, hierarchical access options allow NMPED, district, and school officials to drill-down to individual school or student data. The ability to move vertically from statewide aggregate data to individual schools or studenta allows school officials to promote growth, track progress, and efficiently allocate resources to areas of need.
